Google cleans away from Android phones infected with a virus

Last week, Internet users have discovered a fifty applications fromthe Android Market infected by a dangerous Trojan. Googledecided this weekend to take drastic measures.

The antivirus vendors are rubbing their hands. Increasingly popularsmartphones are also increasingly becoming victims of computer attacks. Syphilitic fifty applications were identified last week on theAndroid Market, the application catalog of Android, the operating system for mobile Google. According to research firm Canalys, thesystem this year became the most widely used mobile OS in theworld, with 32.5% market share at Symbian Nokia (30.6%) andApple iOS (16%).
